Princeton hockey alumni Mike Condon, Taylor Fedun, Kyle Hagel, Marc Hagel Mike Moore and Michael Sdao are at NHL training camps this season.
Sdao, who was drafted by the Senators, is entering his third year of professional hockey. Condon is also in his third season of professional hockey, and has been playing in Montreal’s organization since graduating in 2013.
Fedun is in his first season with Vancouver’s organization. Last year he appeared in seven NHL games with San Jose and recorded four assists. This is Moore’s second season with Washington. The former Princeton captain spent much of last season in the AHL, playing in 41 games for Hershey.
Marc and Kyle Hagel are both in training camps. Marc is with Minnesota, while Kyle is with Carolina. This is their second year in their respective organizations.
Three Princeton alumni – Kyle Hagel, Mike Sdao and Mike Moore – earned the AHL Man of the Year award for their respective teams.

Former Princeton men’s hockey player Darroll Powe signed with the Phantoms of the AHL, the team announced Wednesday.
Powe spent several seasons with the Phantoms after graduating from Princeton in 2007. Powe made his NHL debut in 2008-09 with the Flyers, where he played until moving to Minnesota in 2011-12. Continue reading Darroll Powe Joins Phantoms And Other Princeton Signings

Several Princeton players attended NHL development camps over the summer, including forwards Jack Berger and Mike Ambrosia.
Berger attended Ottawa Senators camp with recently-graduated defenseman Michael Sdao, while Ambrosia appeared in New Jersey Devils camp for the second year in a row.
Berger, who joined Ambrosia at Devils camp last summer, scored 12 points and appeared in all 31 games with Princeton in his junior season. Ambrosia finished his freshman year as the team’s leading rookie scorer with 11 points through 21 games.
Matt Nelson, committed to Princeton for the 2014-15 season, attended Minnesota Wild rookie camp. Nelson also spent time with the Green Bay Gamblers last season.
Former Princeton goalkeeper Mike Condon attended camp with the Montreal Canadiens, whom he signed with after graduating. As a senior in 2012-13, Condon appeared in 24 games and finished with a 2.48 goals-against average.
Sdao, drafted by the Senators, recorded 15 points in his final season with the Tigers.
Last season forward Andrew Calof, Princeton’s leading scorer, appeared at Islanders development camp. This summer the senior did not attend development camp but participated in the Maccabiah Games, where he won gold with team Canada.
