Princeton Hockey Recruit Roundup

Here’s this week’s Princeton hockey recruit roundup:

CCHL:

The Smiths Falls Bears and recruit Neil Doef will start its best-of-seven series against Ottawa on Friday. The teams will also play on Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If necessary, they will also play on April 4, 5 and 8.

NAHL:

The Bulls, who have already clinched a playoff spot are two points ahead of Topeka for the top spot in the South Division. Joe Grabowski had one assist over the weekend, as the Bulls were swept by Topeka. Stewart Pomeroy played in one of the four games.

USHL:

I put together a feature on Eric Robinson last week. He played in one of three games last weekend. The Saints have clinched a spot in the playoffs.

Matt Nelson recorded an assist in Omaha’s loss to Sioux City. The Lancers will also make the playoffs.

Michael Lackey played in both games last week. He made 12 saves on 15 shots in Friday’s loss. On Saturday, Lackey recorded the loss after allowing five goals on 29 shots.

Princeton Hockey Recruit Roundup

Here’s this week’s Princeton hockey recruit roundup:

CCHL:

Smiths Falls swept the series against Nepean. In the series, Neil Doef recorded a goal and two assists.

NAHL:

Joe Grabowski recorded a goal in Amarillo’s 3-2 shootout loss to Lone Star on Friday and added another in the Bulls’ 8-3 win over Lone Star.

USHL:

Eric Robinson missed Wednesday’s game and returned on Friday. On Saturday, Robinson recorded a goal.

Josh Melnick recorded an assist on Youngstown’s lone goal against Muskegon on Saturday.

Michael Lackey made 35 saves on 41 shots in a 7-4 loss to Lincoln on Saturday

Matt Nelson recorded an assist in Omaha’s 5-1 win over Des Moines on Saturday and another in Omaha’s loss to the U-17 team on Saturday.
