Princeton hockey recruits Matthew Thom, Derek Topatigh and Luke Keenan were named to the CJHL Prospects game.
All three players will dress for Team East during the Jan. 26 game, which will take place in Surrey, B.C.
Both Thom and Topatigh are defensemen. Thom has nine points for Georgetown. Topatigh is Orangeville’s leading defenseman, with 23 points in 35 games. Keenan, a recent recruit, has 24 points in 27 games.
Princeton hockey recruits Jackson Cressey, Matt Thom, Derek Topatigh and Colin Tonge were named to Canada’s World Junior A Challenge selection camp rosters.
Cressey, a member of the BCHL, was named to the Canada West camp roster. Thom, Topatigh and Tonge were all named to Canada East’s roster.
The World Junior A Challenge will take place in Cobourg, Ontario from Dec. 13 to Dec. 19.
Princeton hockey recruit Matt Thom was given a C rating on the Central Scouting November rankings.
Thom was also given a C rating in the September rankings. The defenseman has seven points through 25 games in his first OJHL season.
Princeton received two commitments in the past few weeks – one from the BCHL’s Jackson Cressey and the other from Christian O’Neill. Several Princeton recruits were also named to the CCHL All-Star Cup Challenge.

Reid Yochim recorded a goal in St. Andrew’s season-opening win
Liam Grande has not played since Sept. 29. Matt Thom recorded an assist against Milton on Oct. 30 and added two assists in an Oct. 31 win over Burlington. Colin Tonge scored a goal in a Nov. 5 loss to Stouffville. Derek Topatigh has three goals in his last three games, including a two-goal night against the Toronto J. Canadiens. The trio were named to the CCHL All-Star Cup Challenge.
Joey Fallon had an assist in the Oct. 30 win over Amarillo and a goal in the Oct. 31 win over the Bulls. Jake Paganelli had a goal and an assist in Nov. 7 win over Coulee Region.
Christian O’Neill had a goal on Nov. 8.
Jack Adams recorded an assist in each of Fargo’s last two games against Des Moines.
Doug Connor played in two games over the last three weeks, playing both games last weekend against the Skipjacks Hockey Club. On Saturday Connor made 32 saves in a 7-3 loss and added 42 saves in Saturday’s 5-3 loss.

Princeton hockey recruits Colin Tonge, Matt Thom and Derek Topatigh were named to the CCHL Eastern Canada All Star Cup Challenge rosters.
Tonge will play for OJHL Hawerchuk, Thom for OJHL Nieuwendyk and Derek Topatigh for OJHL Oates. Topatigh is committed for the 2016-17 season, while Thom and Tonge are committed for 2017-18.
Princeton hockey recruits Jack Adams and Matt Thom were named to the NHL’s Central Scouting Watch List, which was released on Wednesday.
Both Adams and Thom were given a C rating, which indicates a 4th, 5th or 6th round potential draft pick. Adams, a forward, is playing his first season with the Fargo Force in the USHL.
Thom is in his first season of junior hockey, skating for Georgetown of the OJHL. The defenseman is committed to Princeton for the 2017-18 season along with Adams.
Junior hockey is completely underway, and so are Princeton’s recruits. Six recruits scored this week as the NAHL, OJHL and USHL have started regular-season play.

After being cut by the Green Bay Gamblers, Jake Paganelli joined the Austin Bruins. He recorded three points (2g, 2a) as the Bruins finished the NAHL Showcase 2-1.
Last week, Joey Fallon netted three points over four games. He recorded two assists in a 3-2 win over Minnesota, his first multi-point NAHL game. Fallon has four points through five games this season.
Defenseman Derek Topatigh netted an assist last week. Matt Thom also recorded an assist, as Georgetown went 2-1 over the week. Forward Colin Tonge scored four goals over three games last week, and netted two goals in a 5-3 loss to the Toronto Patriots.
Fargo opened up the season with a 4-3 loss to Sioux City. Jack Adams recorded an assist.

St. Andrew’s Collge defenseman Matt Thom committed to Princeton for the 2017-18 season, he announced on Twitter.
The 98 defenseman netted 21 points (5g, 16a) over 57 games last season. He was also defensive partners and roommates with Reid Yochim, who is also committed to Princeton hockey for the 2017-18 season.
Thom will spend this season with the Georgetown Raiders of the OJHL.
