Marlon Sabo spent the last two seasons playing for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the BCHL. The Surrey, B.C. native was named the Bulldogs’ Most Improved, Academic Player of the Year in 2013, when Alberni Valley won the 2013 Island Division Championship. Ben Foster spent last season with the Muskegon Lumberjacks and the Tri-City Storm of the USHL, where he totaled 39 points in 65 games with both teams. He scored 17 of those points in 22 games with the Storm. The left wing graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in 2012, when he earned a spot on the 2011-12 New England Prep All-Star team. After graduating from Hermantown High School in 2011, Garrett Skrbich, spent time with three different BCHL teams. Over those two years, the Hermantown, Minn. recorded 37 points. As a senior in high school, Skrbich earned multiple accolades, including team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year, after scoring 75 points to break a 66-year-old school single-season scoring record. Tommy Davis spent his last season playing for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL, where he notched 22 points (7g, 22a) over 65 games. The defenseman attended Delbarton along with incoming Princeton hockey freshman Colton Phinney. Delbarton won the state championship all four years the duo played there. Davis, a Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. native, appeared in 106 games in high school and finished with 72 points (21g, 52a).
A native of New Jersey, Colton Phinney joins Princeton after spending a year playing for the Islanders Hockey Club. Last season, the goalkeeper posted a 2.55 goals-against average, four shutouts, a 25-11-1 record and scored the game-winning goal in the finals. The Chatham N.J native graduated from Delbarton in 2012 after serving as an assistant captains his senior year, when he finished with a 24-1 record. Ryan Siiro comes to Princeton after captaining the Sioux Falls Stampede and recording 34 points (12g, 22a) and a plus-19 rating through 63 games last season. The 20-yea-old also received the USHL’s Curt Hammer Award, given to the player who shows leadership and determination on and off the ice.
