Princeton Hockey Alumnus Mark Milley Nominated for Army’s Chief of Staff

Princeton hockey alumni General Mark Milley was nominated for the Army’s chief of staff on May 13.

“He not only has plenty of operational and joint experience in Afghanistan, in Iraq and on the Joint Staff, but he also has the intellect and vision to lead change throughout the Army,” Defense Secretary Ashton Carter told the Army Times.

Per the Army Times, Milley will be the first Army chief of staff with an undergraduate Ivy League degree.

Josh Teves Earns RBC National Junior A Scholarship

Princeton hockey recruit Josh Teves was named the RBC National Junior A Scholarship recipient, Hockey Canada announced on Wednesday.

The scholarship rewards players who’v excelled in academics and community service. Teves, who was selected out of 10 finalists in the CJHL, will receive $5,000. Princeton Hockey Alumni Kevin Crane, Zane Kalemba Form Development Group To Give Back To N. J. Youth Hockey

It’s been five years since Zane Kalemba and Kevin Crane pulled on orange and black jerseys for Princeton hockey. But the pair, along with former Division I players Chris Atkinson, Mike Atkinson, Anthony Yelovich and Luke Popko, still gather every summer to play hockey for the Rockets.

Princeton Recruit Joey Fallon Tendered By Lone Star Brahmas

Princeton hockey recruit Joey Fallon was tendered by the Lone Star Brahmas of the NAHL, the team announced on Thursday.

“I really liked everything that coach [Dan] Wildfong said. He won coach of the year so I knew I would be in good hands,” Fallon said in the release. “Everyone’s really is a winner and that’s what I want to be surrounded by. Princeton Recruit Jack Adams Selected By Fargo Force

The Fargo Force selected Princeton hockey recruit Jack Adams in the USHL Phase II draft on Tuesday.
