Princeton Hockey Recruit Roundup

Most of Princeton’s recruits are in the middle of their postseasons. Merritt and Josh Teves were eliminated, but Camrose, Kingston, Gloucester and Cobourg are still in the playoffs.

Derek Topatigh also committed to Princeton last week.

Here’s more from this week’s Princeton hockey recruit roundup:

Gloucester advanced past Kemptville with two wins. Joey Fallon recorded four points (2g, 2a) in the first win, while Max Veronneau scored a goal. Veronneau followed with two points (1g, 1a) in the second win, including the assist on the overtime goal.

The Rangers trail their second series 2-0. So far Fallon had an assist in each of the first two games. Ryan Kuffner has not returned to the lineup.

Austin Shaw did not play this week, and was not dressed as the backup in the last two games.

Shattuck St. Mary’s and Jake Paganelli will participate in nationals, which will take place in Buffalo from Mach 26-30. The team defeated Bauer Emerson in the U18 semifinals 9-0 on Wednesday, and followed with a 3-2 championship win over the Minnesota Blades.

The Phantoms are on a 14-game winning streak, but Josh Melnick‘s point streak was snapped at 10 games. On Saturday, he recorded two assists.
