Recruit Roundup

Here’s this week’s Princeton hockey recruit roundup:

CCHL:

The Smiths Falls Bears lost the opening game to Ottawa 3-2, and rebounded with a 1-0 win the next night. The teams will play the third game tonight.

Neil Doef scored a goal on the first night and assisted on the only goal in the second game.

NAHL:

The Bulls swept Odessa over the weekend, winning 8-2 and 3-2.

Amarillo will play the Wichita Falls Wildcats in the South Devision Semifinal. The best-of-five series will start on Friday. The teams will play on April 5 and 11, and if necessary the 12 and 14.

USHL:

Michael Lackey started against Chicago, where he made 27 saves on 32 shots in an overtime loss.

Josh Melnick recorded an assist in Youngstown’s 4-3 loss to Cedar Rapids.

Eric Robinson sat on Friday but recorded an assist on Saturday.
