Here is this week’s Princeton hockey recruit roundup:
Max Becker recorded an assist in a 4-1 win over his former team, the Penticton Vees.
Neil Doef scored a goal in a 7-0 win over Kanata on Jan. 28. He added an assist in Friday’s win over Hawkesbury but did not score in the 2-1 loss to Gloucester.
Ryan Kuffner has not played since Jan. 26 for the Rangers.
Joe Grabowski recorded an assist in Amarillo’s win over Lone Star. Stuart Pomeroy played in both games over the weekend.
Ben Halford is injured. He was not listed as a backup for the Bay State Breakers in the last two games.
Omaha’s Matt Nelson is injured and has missed the team’s last five games.
Eric Robinson recorded four points over the week and two multi-point games. He netted two assists on Jan. 28 and tacked on a goal and an assist in Friday’s 7-3 win over Youngstown.
In the same contest, Josh Melnick netted an assist. The next night Melnick helped Youngstown to a 5-3 win over Dubuque, tallying the game’s first goal on a shorthanded tally. He added an assist. Melnick’s goal was his first USHL shorthanded one.
Michael Lackey made 20 saves on 24 shots in a 4-1 loss to Indiana. The USNTDP U-17 team began play in the Five Nations Tournament, and Lackey split playing time with Luke Opilka in the 6-5 win over Finland. Lackey made 11 saves on 14 shots in the game.
