Countdown to Princeton Hockey – No. 13 Will Ford

We’re counting down the days until Princeton hockey’s season opener by featuring a different player each day. Since there’s 13 days until the season’s start, today’s spotlight is on forward Will Ford.

What you need to know: In his sophomore year, Ford scored a goal against Connecticut, broke his hand and played with a cast for the next six games. Ford, who missed playing time in his junior and freshman year, recorded two goals over 43 games in his Princeton career.

Last Year: The forward, who was injured last season, appeared in 12 games, scored no points and recorded a minus-3 rating.

NAHL: Ford spent 57 games with the Marquette Rangers in 2009-10, when he scored three goals.

He dressed as a backup goalkeeper in Princeton’s Feb. 8 contest against Colgate.
