Former Princeton men’s hockey assistant coach Tim Marks joined the Binghamton Senators as the video coach, Ottawa’s AHL affiliate announced on Wednesday.

Marks, who spent two years with Princeton, also worked for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL as a video coordinator and assistant coach.

Marks played for Clarkson, where he tallied 36 points (14g, 22a) in 141 games from 2006-10. He then signed with the Tampa Bay Lightning and played for the Norfolk Admirals in 2010-11, where he recorded five points (4g, 1a) in 45 games.

The Brownville, N.Y. native majored in entrepreneurship and innovation at Clarkson.

Last season the Ottawa Senators signed Princeton defenseman Michael Sdao to a one-year entry-level deal. Sdao signed an ATO and spent 12 games with Binghamton, recording one goal and a plus-4 rating.
