Recruit Roundup

Here are what Princeton’s recruits have been up to this week:

CCHL:

Ryan Kuffner scored the game-tying goal while teammate Connor McLaren scored the game-winning goal in the 5-4 comeback win over Brockville. The Rangers tallied five unanswered goals to claim the victory.

Kuffner netted a goal in each of Gloucester’s three wins this past week and netted two points (1g, 1a) in the win over Pembroke. McLaren did not play on Sunday.

Neil Doef posted an assist in each of Smiths Falls’ wins over the weekend.

NAHL:

Amarillo won its three games over the week, including a weekend sweep of the Killer Bees. Stuart Pomeroy recorded his first point of the season as he earned an assist on Amarillo’s overtime and game-winning goal against Odessa. He added an assist on Friday.

Prep School:

Joe Fallon recorded five points (2g, 3a) over three games. On Friday he netted two assists in a 5-2 win over Canterbury.

USPHL:

Ben Halford started all three games in net for the Bay State Breakers, who lost all three contests. Ben Halford made 35 saves on 40 shots in the 5-1 loss to the Junior Bruins. Over the weekend he made 56 saves and allowed eight goals in both losses to the Flyers.

After falling to the Portland Jr. Pirates 2-1, the Islanders Hockey Club swept the Connecticut Yankees by defeating them 8-5 on Saturday and 7-3 on Sunday. David Hallisey netted two assists in Sunday’s win.

USHL:

Josh Melnick returned from an injury after missing eight games. He recorded an assist in Youngstown’s 4-3 loss to Muskegon, his first game back since Nov. 27. He posted a plus-1 rating in the Phantoms’ 6-3 win over the USNTDP U-17 team.

In that game, Michael Lackey started in net. He made 14 saves on 19 shots.

Tony Calderone scored a goal in Sioux Falls’ 8-3 loss to Waterloo, his first tally since Nov. 30. He recorded two assist in the Stampede’s win over Tri-City. The win snapped a four-game losing streak and marked the first time since Nov. 9 Calderone had a multi-point game.

Omaha won two of its three games over the past week, and Matt Nelson recorded the game-winning goal in both victories.

Eric Robinson recorded an assist in both of Dubuque’s wins and registered a plus-5 rating over the weekend.

  1. Hi Jashvina this past weekend Fri, Sun and Monday Princeton recruit Joey Fallon had 2 assists in Friday’s 5-2 Gunnery win over Canterbury on Sunday he had a 1 Goal in 5-3 win over Winchendon and today had 1Goal and 1assist in 5-3 win over Trinity Pauling . Thanks very much
