Princeton men’s hockey returns back to ECAC action this weekend, hosting RPI and Union on Friday and Saturday, respectfully.The Tigers (3-14-0, 2-8-0 ECAC), who return to Baker Rink for the first time since Nov. 22, are on a six-game losing streak and haven’t won since Nov. 23.

The Engineers (8-8-4, 3-3-3 ECAC) resume play after a losing both of their games at the Mariucci Classic. The last time RPI won was on Dec. 7, when the Engineers took down the Tigers 5-2.
Ryan Haggerty continues to pace the Engineers — and the nation — in goals. His 18 tallies rank first in the nation, but the junior failed to record a point at the Mariucci Classic. In net, Scott Diebold is 7-7-4 with a 2.48 goals-against average.
In the December matchup between the two teams, Jonathan Liau netted a shorthanded goal. Brock Higgs scored twice for the Engineers, while Haggerty added a goal.
The Dutchmen (12-3-3, 8-1-0 ECAC) will enter Baker Rink with a 10-game unbeaten streak, the longest regular-season streak in the team’s history.
Union is first in the ECAC and hasn’t lost since Nov. 8 against Colgate. The Dutchmen were on a nine-game winning streak after that loss until a 3-3 tie against St. Cloud State on Dec. 14. Union defeated Princeton 3-0 during that streak.
Daniel Carr leads Union’s attack with 22 points. He’s on a six-game point streak and is three points way from becoming the program’s all-time leading scorer.
Colin Stevens has started 13 game this season and nine during Union’s unbeaten streak. The junior holds a 9-1-1 record and a 2.31 goals-against average.
After the midseason break the Tigers were bolstered by the return of Mike Ambrosia and Andrew Calof. The two joined freshman Ryan Siiro to make up Princeton’s top line, which accounted for a goal in the team’s 2-3 loss to New Hampshire on Dec. 29.
Tucker Brockett’s 11 points are a team high. Andrew Ammon leads the Tigers with six goals, but sat out Princeton’s exhibition game against the University of British Columbia.
Colton Phinney and Sean Bonar have rotated starts. Phinney is 1-7-0 with a 4.02 goals-against average while Bonar is 2-7-0 with a 3.82 goals-against average.
