Princeton men’s hockey resumes its season on Saturday, without much of a change to the team’s injury status.
Heading into the midseason break, Andrew Calof, Mike Ambrosia, Ben Foster, Tyler Maugeri, Garrett Skrbich, Tommy Davis, Kevin Liss and Kevin Ross were out with injuries.
Coach Bob Prier said Davis and Ross would miss the tournament, but he won’t know the status of the other players until Saturday around game time.
“We have a practice tonight at 8 p.m. and just a lot of guys are all en route to the tournament,” Prier said. “I know Kevin Ross will not be playing, Tommy Davis will not be playing and I thought there was one other guy maybe that wasn’t playing.
“Everyone else is 50/50 at this point.”
Davis missed two games to start the season and returned in November. After splitting defensive starts with fellow freshman Quin Pompi, Davis started five straight games until suffering his injury.
Ross has not played at all this season, while Calof has been out since Nov. 9. Foster also suffered an injury on Nov. 8 and returned against Michigan State on Nov. 29, where he re-injured himself.
Ambrosia has missed six games this season. He sat out for the first two games with an injury and sustained an upper-body injury just before series against Michigan State.
