Recruit Roundup

Here are updates from the past two weeks, since I was unable to post anything last Monday:

BCHL:

Max Becker has missed the last four games for the SilverBacks due to an injury, but should return after Christmas.

CCHL:

Connor McLaren tallied two goals in Gloucester’s 5-1 win over Hawkesbury on Dec. 13, including the game-winning goal. He recorded another multi-point game on Dec. 17, netting a goal and assist in the team’s 7-4 win over Kanata. McLaren had an assist on Dec. 15

Ryan Kuffner has not played since Dec. 1.

NAHL:

Stuart Pomeroy was traded from the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL to the Amarillo Bulls of the NAHL, where he now plays with fellow Princeton recruit Joe Grabowksi.

Pomeroy missed two months with a wrist injury and returned to the Musketeers on Dec. 6. He played on Dec. 7 as well, but missed Sioux City’s next two games and was traded on Dec. 15.

USPHL:

David Hallisey assisted on both of the Islanders Hockey Club goals in the 2-0 win over the P.A.L. Junior Islanders on Dec. 13. He scored the team’s lone goal in the 5-1 loss to Portland on Dec. 19.

Ben Halford appeared in one of Bay State’s last three games, stopping 34 of 36 shots in a shutout loss to Portland on Dec. 14.

USHL:

The USHL was off this week. Here are last week’s stats:

Michael Lackey stopped 29 pucks on 33 shots, leading the USNTDP team to a 5-4 win over Dubuque on Dec. 13. Dubuque’s Eric Robinson recorded an assist and a plus-1 rating in the loss.
